LORI HERSBERGER, "How Can You Kill Me? (I'm Already Dead)", Swiss Institute, 495 Broadway, near Broome Street, (212) 925-2035 (through March 9). On three big screens, this Swiss artist projects montages of Hollywood movie clips, mostly moments of suspense or climatic violence from disaster films, Westerns, police thrillers and war movies. Through abrupt cutting and repetition of loud soundtracks as well as imagery, Mr. Hersberger creates an unnerving delirium while raising questions about our appetite for stories of death and apocalyptic destruction.
