best venue for avant-minimalist noise rock
Artists claiming a platform of second-wave neo-Dadaism staged
a series of Cabaret Voltaire-style performances replete with
"failed" (black) paintings strewn about the walls
and floors of Soho gallery space the SWISS INSTITUTE. What
emerged, however, was a venue for hippies and hipsters alike
to huddle attentively, attuned to great noise from Black Dice
to Christian Marclay...
