Please note that this event will be held at The Met Fifth Avenue (1000 5th Ave, New York, NY 10028) in the Bonnie J. Sacerdote Lecture Hall, Uris Center for Education.

On the occasion of SI’s exhibition Jill Mulleady: Fight-or-Flight, and the concurrent exhibition Félix Vallotton: Painter of Disquiet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, please join us at the Met for a symposium which delves into the life and legacy of Vallotton and Fin de Siécle painting as seen by historians, artists and contemporary thinkers.

Priority will be given to those who have registered in advance, but registration does not guarantee seating. Doors to the Met’s lecture hall will open for seating 30 minutes before start time. A stand-by line will form for those who have not registered. All unclaimed seats will be released shortly before start time, and seats may become available at that time. A simulcast space will also be available. Assistive listening devices are available from the ushers.
