Parasite Garage and Swiss Institute present See Thru, a project by Julien Ceccaldi for the window of Swiss Institute.
Julien Ceccaldi is a French-Canadian artist who works with drawing, painting and installation. He produces comics in small editions with narratives centered on manga heroines trying to maintain the facade of a thriving self. He also sells hand-painted clothes. Julien’s work has been shown in Los Angeles, Berlin, Philadelphia, and Montreal.
Parasite Garage is the New York iteration of Los Angeles-based project space, Paradise Garage, run by artists Liz Craft and Pentti Monkkonen.
Please join us for an opening reception to toast the presentation of this new, site-specific work. Opening reception on Sunday, June 8, 6-8 PM.
