Christoph Cox is Professor of Philosophy at Hampshire College and Faculty at the Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College. His books include Nietzsche: Naturalism and Interpretation (University of California Press, 1999) and Audio Culture: Readings in Modern Music (Continuum, 2004). He is currently writing a book about ontology and temporality in sound art from the 1960s to the present.
