Roman Selim Khereddine’s (b. 1989, lives and works in Zurich) practice explores the moving image and human-animal relationships. Recent solo exhibitions include: Beiss die Hand, Helmhaus, Zurich (2024); PARTNER, Alte Fabrik, Rapperswil (2024); Big House Narrow Grave, Sentiment, Zurich (2023); Hard-Won Images, Espace 3353, Geneva (2022); Hard-Won Images 2, Tunnel Tunnel, Lausanne (2022); Can‘t have it all, Binz39, Zurich (2022). Recent group exhibitions include Atopia I, dacodac, Zurich (2024); Animal Instinct/Instinct Animal, Musée des Beaux-Arts Le Locle, Le Locle (2023); 12 Rooms, Kunstmuseum Appenzell, Appenzell (2023); and Entangled Events, Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen, St. Gallen (2022). Khereddine has been awarded work and studio grants by the city and the canton of Zurich (2021, 2023) and was shortlisted for the Swiss Art Awards in 2023.
