Víctor J. González Ortiz (b. Caguas, Puerto Rico) grew up in San Lorenzo and lives and works in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He received a BFA from the Escuela de Artes Plásticas y Diseño de Puerto Rico. Solo exhibitions include Nada más que nada, Souvenir 154, San Juan (2025); Un más allá que está aquí, Equis-Ente, San Juan (2024); and Frío de noche / con ventanas oscuras / rosa opaco, Área Lugar de Proyectos, Caguas (2020–2021). Recent two-person and group exhibitions include Fundación Cotoperí, San Juan (2026) and Teatro LATEA at The Clemente, New York (2025). Selected residencies include Wassaic Project, New York (2026); Penland School of Craft, North Carolina (Distinguished Fellow, 2025); and The Studios at MASS MoCA (2019).
