Description
Swiss artist Valentin Carron describes Work Hard as “a self portrait using the art of others.” Stemming from his celebration of the vernacular sublime and guided by an idiosyncratic take on history. Carron brings together an exceptional group of artworks by homegrown influences and inspiring contemporaries spanning a century, developing a creative discourse on identity, labor, and the national narrative.
