Swiss Institute welcomes guide dogs and other trained service animals in the galleries and to all events.
Swiss Institute is committed to ensuring accessibility for all visitors.

The nearest subway stations with elevator access are 14 St–Union Square (L/N/Q/R/W) and Broadway–Lafayette St (B/D/F/M/6).
SI is fully accessible via our ADA compliant entrance at 38 St Marks Pl. SI is accessible by elevator on all floors.
Large print exhibition materials are available upon request at the front desk.
SI's library is open to the public and equipped with free wifi and books that visitors are welcome to read through on site. Due to programming, the library may be closed during open gallery hours. Please call us if you have questions about the library's availability.
SI offers gender-neutral bathrooms with wheelchair access on the Lower Level and 2nd Floor.

SI permits non-flash, personal-use photography inside the galleries, provided it does not disrupt others or involve tripods, selfie sticks, or camera extension poles. Handheld cameras and phones are allowed, but flash and professional equipment are prohibited, and restrictions may apply to certain special exhibits.
Food and drinks are not permitted in the galleries.
Scooters, skateboards, and personal items larger than 16 x 17 x 8 inches are not permitted in the galleries but can be stored at the reception desk. There is no coat room.
