On the occasion of the exhibition Jon Kessler: The Web, Swiss Institute has invited Alanna Heiss to present her personal view of the work of Kessler.

Alanna Heiss is the Director of AIR, Art International Radio, an Internet-based art radio station operating out of the Clocktower Gallery in Lower Manhattan, New York. In 1971, Heiss founded the Institute for Art and Research (known today as MoMA PS1), serving as director from 1976 to 2008. It was during her time at PS1 when she organized Jon Kessler’s seminal work, The Palace at 4 A.M. (2005). Heiss has curated and organized over 700 exhibitions, at PS1 and elsewhere.
