On the occasion of the exhibition Jean-Fréderic Schnyder, Swiss Institute has invited Philipp Kaiser to present his personal perspective of the work of Schnyder. These critics and curators have previously shown interest in the Swiss artist’s work, or have even co-operated closely with him.

Philipp Kaiser, currently a curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles, has recently been named the new director of the Museum Ludwig in Cologne. He is also a member of the curatorial committee for new acquisitions at the Sammlung Verbund in Vienna. Kaiser curated a large survey of Schnyder’s work at Museum für Gegenwartskunst Basel in 2007.
