On the occasion of the exhibition Jean-Fréderic Schnyder, Swiss Institute has invited David Rimanelli to present his personal perspective of the work of Schnyder. These critics and curators have previously shown interest in the Swiss artist’s work, or have even co-operated closely with him.
A renowned art critic and curator, Rimanelli has been a contributing editor at Artforum since 1997 and has also written for Bookforum, TateEtc., Vogue Paris and Interview Magazine. Rimanelli has taught art courses at New York University, Yale University, Pasadena Art Center and Otis College of Art and Design. Rimanelli wrote a piece on Schnyder published by Artforum in 2007.
